Power leg
In a binary plan, the leg that receives spillover from the upline and grows without the participant's effort.
Also: pay leg, profit leg
The power leg is the side of a binary where the upline places their recruits. It grows on its own. The other leg, sometimes called the profit leg, must be built by the participant, and since pay follows the weaker leg, that is where income actually comes from. "Your upline builds one leg for you" describes the power leg, not the income.
