Leg

Each personally sponsored participant, together with everyone under them, forms a leg. Rank requirements often specify a number of qualified legs, for example "three legs with at least 1,000 GV each", to prevent one large leg from carrying a rank.

In binary plans there are exactly two legs, and pay depends on the smaller one.
