Downline
Everyone a participant has recruited, directly or indirectly.
A participant's downline is the tree of people below them: their personal recruits, those recruits' recruits, and so on. Commissions on downline volume, called overrides, are what make a plan multi-level.
The size and shape of a downline determine most of a participant's income under any plan type.
