Flush
The cancellation of unmatched or excess volume at the end of a pay period in binary plans.
Also: volume flush, carry-over cap
When binary volume in the stronger leg exceeds what the plan allows to carry over, the excess is flushed: deleted without payment. Flushing rules are a key detail in whether a binary plan is generous or not.
