Exit costs
What it costs to leave: unsold inventory, cancelled bonuses, lost relationships.
Leaving may trigger chargebacks on recent bonuses, leave inventory that the buyback policy excludes, and end friendships built on the business. Knowing the exit costs before joining is part of due diligence.
