How many levels down a plan pays commissions.
Depth is the number of levels on which a participant can earn, commonly five to ten in unilevel plans, sometimes unlimited via infinity bonuses at high ranks. Deeper pay rewards building tall organisations; wide pay rewards recruiting many directly.
