Breakaway
When a downline participant reaches a rank that removes their group from the sponsor's group volume.
A breakaway is a structural event: the new leader's group volume no longer counts towards the sponsor's group volume, and the sponsor's level commissions on it stop. In exchange, the sponsor may receive a generational override if they hold the required rank. Breakaways can drop a sponsor below their own rank requirements.
