An FTC settlement in which AdvoCare paid $150 million and left multi-level marketing.
In October 2019 the FTC announced that AdvoCare would pay $150 million and be banned from multi-level marketing to settle allegations that it operated a pyramid scheme, according to the agency's release. The company had already converted to a single-level model earlier that year.
