How we read this statement

Figures are annual compensation paid in 2023, before expenses: all commissions, bonuses and incentive payments from PPLSI (LegalShield and IDShield) to its Independent Associates.

Who is counted. Only active Associates: those who sold at least one LegalShield or IDShield membership in 2023, or used the Prospect app at least once. Associates who did neither are not in the figures, and the statement gives no count of either group.

Average: $2,647.89 per active Associate (LegalShield's figure).

Earning nothing: 31% of active Associates earned no compensation in 2023. Inactive Associates are not included, so the share across all Associates is not published.

The median is not recorded. LegalShield gives a median of $118.43, but it covers active Associates only, not all participants, so it stays in the original table. The percentile chart shows a median of $122.71 on its 50th-percentile row, and the statement does not explain the difference from $118.43.

The only mandatory fee is a $99 one-time registration. LegalShield Advantage Plus ($24.95/month) is optional, but it is required for Performance Club Bonuses, which 17% of active Associates qualified for.
